ABOUT H1B DATAPOINT

Public records, with context.

H1B DataPoint is an independent salary research website that helps people explore employer-reported H-1B wage disclosures.

Why this resource exists

A salary number is more useful when you can see the employer, job title, location, pay unit, reporting period, and case behind it. Our search connects those details with company, job, and city profiles so you can investigate a comparison instead of relying on a single headline wage.

What we add to the source data

We import official U.S. Department of Labor disclosure files, deduplicate case records, and make the selected fields searchable. Our charts summarize the displayed cohort: filing history, reported wage distributions, job and worksite breakdowns, and case outcomes. Table views and chart downloads let you inspect the underlying values.

Salary medians use Certified filings with a positive yearly base wage. Each filing receives equal weight. Historical trends keep their reporting periods visible, and partial years are labeled. Read our sources and methodology for the full calculation rules and loaded releases.

How to use the results

Start with the suggested legal employer name, then narrow the role, city, and fiscal year. Read the sample size alongside the salary range. A company-wide median mixes roles and locations; it does not establish what a particular offer should pay. Our salary data guide explains these comparisons.

Our independence

H1B DataPoint is not affiliated with the U.S. government or the employers listed here. Employer profiles are based on disclosed records, not endorsements. LCA certification is not a visa approval, and historical filings are not evidence of an active vacancy. We do not provide immigration or employment placement services.

Advertising and corrections

Advertising is labeled separately from salary records and does not determine employer rankings or alter disclosed wages. Source data can contain missing fields and errors. If you find a problem in our display or calculations, contact us with the page and case number. Changes to an official source record must be addressed with the source agency.
